Le Manoir de la Chapelle, a unique lodging built on 15th-century foundations, welcomes you to its peaceful haven for a tranquil stay, surrounded by the countryside and offering a special connection to nature. You can recharge your batteries by enjoying the outdoor spaces, featuring a hanging garden, a view of the Château de l’Isle, walks through the meadows down to the Sarthe River, and time spent with the horses; indoors, you’ll find a flea market and art exhibitions; all set within an antique-style interior worthy of a cabinet of curiosities, giving you the feeling that “time has stood still.” Each room is equipped with Wi-Fi, a private bathroom with a hairdryer, makeup remover, and bath products. A continental breakfast is served every morning in the dining area; it includes fresh bread, pastries, orange juice, a selection of hot beverages, and local jam. Free private parking is also available, and you’ll find a wide range of places to visit in the Alpes Mancelles: Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei—one of the most beautiful villages in France, 10 km away—the Château de Carrouges, 27 km away via the Écouves Forest, and Bellême, 37 km away.
